ROLE PURPOSE
As a Cargo Supervisor you directly organize Shift by Shift daily Cargo and Marine operations on the most safest and efficient way

ROLE CONTRIBUTION
1 In order to communicate effectively and efficiently with other departments to ensure safe Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) and also to supply the required support to other departments

YOU ARE TO:
1.1 Liaise daily with other supervisors in order to maintain safe operations throughout the vessel.

The measure of effectiveness will be:
Number of Reportable incidents
2 In order to demonstrate that you understand your daily work scope to manage your team and 3rd party vendors safely and efficiently


YOU ARE TO :
2.1 Communicate the daily job plan -TRA, hold tool box talks, prepare and perform permits and worksite inspections
2.2 Supervise 3rd party vendors involved with the area of authority of the cargo department
2.3 Liaise with the off take crew to maintain safe offload activities

The measure of effectiveness will be:
The monthly KPI's met
The audit outcomes
3 In order to accurately do data reporting


YOU ARE TO :
3.1 Liaise with cargo superintendents to maintain safe cargo marine operations

The measure of effectiveness will be:
The Daily reports and the client's feedback
4 In order to effectively lead a team

YOU ARE TO :
4.1 Ensure the team has clear objectives aligned with the business.
4.2 Monitor and manage individual and team performance.
4.3 Provide support and ensure individual and team development, training and competence is fulfilled.
4.4 Liaise with cargo superintendents to maintain safe cargo marine operations

The measure of effectiveness will be:
Regular feedback to the team and the formal measurement through appraisal
HR Training and Competence KPIs
Training and Competence Audit outcomes
5 In order to achieve Knowledge, understanding and compliance with GEMs (Global Enterprise Management System)

5.1 Fulfill Production Superintendent accountabilities / responsibilities as described in GEMs
