RC-d2m-258 - Deck Supervisor /Deck Foreman ( M/F)

We are recruiting, on behalf of our partner active in Africa, to strengthen its offshore deck crew team on sea-going vessels.
The Deck Supervisor will be responsible for organizing and executing deck operations on board, including cargo handling, bunkering, waste management, lifting operations, and deck crew supervision.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years supervising deck operations on offshore oil and gas production facilities,
  or at least three years as Bosun or Crew Master on sea-going vessels.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in offshore environments.

• Strong knowledge of offshore lifting equipment, including cranes, gantry cranes, forklifts, and slings.
• Familiar with hazardous area operations and ATEX standards.
• Skilled in risk assessment and lifting plan development.
• Solid understanding of rigging, slinging, signaling, and cargo handling procedures.

• Banksman and Rigger certifications (mandatory).
• Crane Operator certification (advantageous).
• STCW Regulation II/5 Able Seaman or valid Deck Hand / Bosun certificate.
• Basic Safety Training (BST), including Survival Craft and Security Awareness.
• Valid in-person training in Rigging, Slinging & Signaling covering lift planning, cargo handling, risk analysis, and operational control.
• Valid offshore medical fitness certificate (issued within the last 12 months).

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Portuguese and/or French are considered assets.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• High adaptability and efficiency in high-pressure offshore environments.
