Subsea Inspection Engineer

Grupo Simples is recruiting a Subsea Inspection Engineer to provide services (secondment) to one of its clients, a well-established multinational in the Angolan oil & gas sector. This professional will be responsible for executing subsea inspection engineering activities, ensuring the integrity of subsea assets, developing inspection strategies, and supporting pipeline integrity management. Responsibilities:Execute subsea inspection engineering activities within Subsea MIE;Implement technical solutions for the inspection of subsea assets (pipelines, risers, FLET/ILT, associated infrastructure);Develop and implement inspection strategies in line with project and regulatory requirements;Maintain and update inspection asset registers for DB20 subsea systems;Act as Pipeline Integrity Lead Engineer (PILE) for the affiliate as per Company Rules;Manage and supervise pipeline intelligent pigging contracts and risk-based inspection activities;Support emergency pipeline repair activities;Manage FOSC inspection contracts and supervise subsea inspection activities;Conduct technical audits to complement continuous supervision;Ensure reliable periodic reporting, including monthly inspection activity reports with KPIs;Promote innovation and new technologies in inspection processes;Safeguard confidentiality of all inspection-related documentation;Highlight concerns encountered to the Field Operations Subsea Lead and support integrity assessments with the Head of FOSC Coordination;Qualifications:Engineering degree or equivalent;6–10 years of professional experience in the oil & gas industry, with exposure to deep offshore projects/fields and Subsea MIE;Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with lead responsibilities;Strong reliability, autonomy, analytical and organizational skills;Knowledge of GS and CR group standards, SECE management, and performance standard deliverables;Fluent in French or English (level >3.5/5).Working Conditions:Initially based in Paris, later relocated to Angola.Frequent offshore missions (FPSO, FSV) and site visits at contractors' yards in Luanda and abroad (SPS/SURF fabrication sites).If you meet the requirements and are ready for a challenging opportunity in Angola's oil & gas sector, apply today and join a dynamic multinational team.
