Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our growing team and lead our B2B sales efforts. The Sales Manager will be responsible for building and expanding our B2B client base, focusing on key partnerships with hotels, retailers, distributors, and other commercial clients across Angola. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the mattress and bedding industry, and the ability to drive sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Sales Strategy:
- Create and implement a B2B sales strategy to grow the company's presence in the commercial sector.;
- Identify new business opportunities and target markets, including hotels, resorts, wholesalers, and large retailers.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs by generating new business, increasing repeat business, and expanding the client base;
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure contracts are executed successfully.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and threats;
- Use market insights to adjust sales tactics and strategies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, product availability, and timely delivery to clients;
- Coordinate with the finance team for pricing, payment terms, and credit approvals.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management;
- Analyze sales performance data to adjust strategies and improve sales processes.
Team Leadership and Training:
- Lead, mentor, and train a small team of B2B sales representatives (if applicable);
- Ensure team members are aligned with the company's sales objectives and are well-trained on product offerings.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field;
- An MBA or additional sales certifications is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a B2B sales role in the mattress, bedding, or furniture industry (preferred);
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets;
- Experience managing key accounts and dealing with corporate clients.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of the B2B sales process, including lead generation, relationship management, and contract negotiations;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks;
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English (or other languages relevant to the Angola market);
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
