Consumer & Engagement Manager Angola & DRC
What this position is about:
This role focuses on participate in the financial planning process, focusing on tasks such as participating in the preparation of budgets, analyzing and monitoring the cluster's performance and supporting the decision-making process
Responsibilities:
- Translate overarching marketing and brand strategies into holistic consumer acquisition, retention and equity building strategies that maximise diverse opportunities across different channels and touchpoints
- Analyse channel specificities, developing a clear channel segmentations as the foundation for strategic decision making & investment prioritisation. Shape activation and investment plans aimed at establishing JTI as the preferred tobacco partner, securing our brands' dominance in the HoReCa channel
- Continuously monitor investment performance based on pre-defined objectives and KPIs, sharing regular reports, incl. insights and recommendations for corrective measures where applicable. Manage the allocated marketing budget per project with a high degree of ownership and integrity. Ensure process compliance and reporting to Consumer & Trade Activations Manager
- Coach the HoReCa specialists to builid strong, collaoborative business partnerships with high levels of customer satisfaction, built on consumer-centric investments and tailor-fitted propositions where applicable
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while exemplifying JTI's Our Way behaviours. Create a safe space in which employees are able to challenge the satus quo and unleash their full potential. Actively support direct reports' development, while also dealing with performance related issues and taking the necessary action where required
Who we are looking for – Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration / Economics
- 6+ years of Marketing & Sales experience, ideally with HoReCa channel management experience
- Fluent in English and Portuguese, French will be an advantage;
- Strong consumer-centric mindset and a high level of business-acumen
- Knowledge of the local market environment with experience in HoReCa management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
