Commercial Director

 
Ascending is a human capital management company operating in the Angolan and international markets. We are looking for a professional for the position of Commercial Director (Construction) who can join the team of one of our clients. This position is open to expats in Angola or willing to relocate, experience with local market is an advantage.
 
Location: Angola , open to expats application as well.
 
Requirements:

Degree in Management, Marketing, Economics or related field (Master's degree will be a plus);
Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in commercial areas, with at least 5 years in a leadership position;
Fluency in Englsih; Proven experience in managing commercial teams and business development;
Strong leadership and decision-making skills;
Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills;
Strategic vision and results orientation;
Analytical ability to interpret market data and sales performance;
Knowledge of CRM tools and commercial data analysis platforms.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's strategic commercial plan;
Leading the sales team and ensuring that revenue targets are met;
Managing relationships with strategic clients and identifying new business opportunities;
Coordinating commercial campaigns and initiatives in conjunction with the marketing department;
Analysing performance indicators (KPIs) and proposing corrective actions;
Supervising the process of drawing up commercial proposals, contracts and negotiations with clients;
Establishing commercial policies and ensuring their implementation in the different areas of activity;
 
Studying market trends and the competition, proposing adjustments to the strategy as necessary;
Actively participating in pricing decisions, product positioning and market penetration;
Drawing up periodic commercial performance reports for executive management.
