Grupo Simples is recruiting a Subsea Maintenance & Inspection (MIE) and Life of Field Engineer to provide services (secondment) to one of its clients, a well-established multinational in the Angolan oil & gas sector.This professional will be responsible for leading subsea maintenance and inspection engineering activities, coordinating Life of Field (LOF) operations, managing subsea spare parts and tools, and providing operational support to SPS and SURF packages to ensure the reliability and availability of subsea facilities. Responsibilities:Lead the execution of Subsea Maintenance & Inspection (MIE) engineering activities;Implement technical solutions for inspection and repair of subsea assets;Prepare maintenance and inspection strategies for subsea systems, ensuring compliance with integrity requirements;Coordinate Life of Field (LOF) offshore operations, maintenance activities, and spare parts/tooling management;Support SPS and SURF package activities, including operational REX, installation, commissioning, and start-up assistance;Recover and analyse data from contractors, vendors, and suppliers; develop maintenance plans, inspection templates, and manuals;Verify capital and commissioning/start-up spares, and define operational spares and tooling;Conduct maintainability and inspectability reviews, RBI studies, and issue intervention documentation;Manage contractor requests, mobilization/demobilization of tools, and testing activities;Investigate subsea non-conformities and propose technical solutions;Review task plans, SIMOPS, HIRA, and documentation required for subsea interventions;Provide reliable reporting to the Field Operations Subsea Lead, highlighting concerns and ensuring KPI follow-up;Safeguard the confidentiality of all documentation and promote innovation and HSSE excellence.Qualifications:Engineering degree or equivalent;6–10 years of professional experience in the oil & gas industry, with exposure to major deep offshore projects and subsea MIE;At least 3 years in a similar role with lead responsibilities;Strong reliability, autonomy, analytical and organizational skills;Good knowledge of GS and CR Group standards, SECE management, and performance requirements;Fluent in French or English (level >3.5/5).Working Conditions:Initially based in Paris, later relocated to Angola.Frequent offshore missions (FPSO, FSV) and onshore visits to SPS contractors' yards in Luanda and abroad.If you meet the requirements and are ready for a challenging opportunity in Angola's oil & gas sector, apply today and join a dynamic multinational team.
