Site Quality Manager

We are looking for a Site Quality Manager for one of our clients with the following details:Location: Lubango, AngolaStart Date: December 2025 End Date: April/May 2026Qualification and Experience Required: Previous experience on similar project and a background of Quality Management of at least 5 yearsPortuguese speaking candidates (candidates must have a good understanding of Portuguese. Spanish speakers may also be considered)Ability to read and understand documentation in EnglishAvailable for the full duration of the positionLegal authorization to work in Angola and ability to secure a visa in timeWillingness to work on a 12-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation schedule (possibility to negotiate). Sundays off and Saturdays (on need basis)Main responsibilities are:Implementing the approved Project Quality Management Plan in the ProjectReviewing Inspection and Tests Plans, Inspection and Tests Records, Method Statement and all site construction quality documentation.Interface with Site construction Managers to manage Quality ActivitiesEnsuring relevant training of Site personnel on Quality RequirementsInforming about deviations and ensuring participation of relevant parties for establishment of mitigation plansManaging the QC activities on site:Ensuring the relevant resources are available with the right competencies at each step of the projectEnsuring the Quality Construction documentation (ITP, ITR, MS, DWG…) are available at the correct revision, well understood and implemented at site.Planning the inspection in collaboration with the Site Construction manager and teamsEnsuring the COMPANY representative are notified of inspections on time and as per ITPs Inspection points.Ensuring the inspection are conducted in accordance with ITPs and timely with Construction ProgressEnsuring conformity with Project approved documentation at each step of construction.Ensuring recording of inspection through the dedicated Digital Tool implemented on the project.Identifying and reporting to COMPANY any deviations and non-conformity as per Contractual requirement.Managing Non-Conformities on site.Reporting any Non-conformity to COMPANY site representativesReporting on the Digital Tool the Non-conformities when identifiedConducting Root Cause analysis and updating NCR form in Digital tool withing 5 days of occurrence.Establishing relevant mitigation plan (correction + corrective actions) to resolve NCRsEnsuring approval of mitigation plan by COMPANY representative.Follow-up implementation of Mitigation plans and collecting evidences to attach to NCRs for close out.Ensuring Daily compilation and review of Final DocumentationEnsuring issuance, review, approval and transmission for acceptance to COMPANY of QC recordsUpdating QC record issuance status and related KPIsCompiling Construction Final documentation as per accepted Index.Implementing the Digital Tool at siteUpdating the QC records templatesTraining the site team as relevantAdministrating the tool to ensure relevant inspections are created by QC inspection teamEnsuring approval at each level of QC recordsEnsuring update of the QA/QC dashboardsMaintaining traceability for control equipments and for each equipment installedFollowing up and reporting Quality Status at site including, Main events,KPIsStatus of Inspections vs constructionStatus of QC records vs inspectionsAreas of concernsFollowing up calibration of control and measurement equipmentAttending all relevant site meetings,Managing Weekly Quality Meetings with COMPANY.Reporting Monthly KPIs to Offshore Quality ManagerInterfacing with COMPANY representatives on Quality Related topics.If Interested Kindly apply.
