Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer & Commissioning with the following details : Location : Lubango, ANGOLA Duration : Apr 2026Work Schedule : Rotation 12 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF Start date : ASAPExperience and qualifications required :Portuguese speakerSOLAR PV experienceBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similarMinimum of 10 years of experience in construction of industrial facilitiesEPC background and experienceThorough understanding of all aspects of solar PV systems and associated SCADA controls.Experience working with AC & DC Electricity, PV Systems, Trackers, Inverters, and AC collection SystemsCoordination of equipment vendor commissioning processes.Understanding of major electrical equipment such as switchgear, VAR systems, reclosers, MV transformers.Compile and review electrical testing results.Administer and train individuals to perform PV string testing.Possess an understanding of the operation of power system protection relays.Understanding of LOTO principles.Experience with projects valued at over $50 million.A minimum of two construction projects completed.Knowledgeable of international standards and 'best practices' for constructionKnowledgeable of environmental legislation/regulations and good industry practice related to construction worksProficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint or similarExperience working with RNT/ENDE for construction of HV Substations and OHL is preferred.
