Job Title: Senior Accountant

• Payment Policy Compliance: Ensure the company's payment policy is adhered to.
• Supplier Payments: Ensure accurate and timely payments to prevent stock shortages.
• Banking Relations: Build and maintain relationships with banks to ensure access to financing.
• Treasury Function: Perform treasury functions efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Cash Management: Coordinate the treasury team to ensure effective cash management.
• Financial Reporting: Provide relevant reports to the management team.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Auditor Relations: Assist auditors with necessary information.
• Team Development: Organize assessment and development sessions for staff.
• Communication: Ensure effective communication regarding changes in the treasury environment.
• Payment Oversight: Supervise staff to ensure all payments are in accordance with policies.
• Liquidity Planning: Plan monthly efforts to ensure financial liquidity.
• Team Responsibilities Management: Distribute and oversee responsibilities among team members.

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience, with at least one year in treasury operations.
• Costing and balance sheet recons and understanding.
• English and Portuguese speaking.
• Business acumen.
• Good understanding of the Angolan banking system.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
• Attention to detail.
• Communication (verbal and written).
