Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Open Mind. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our treasury operations, ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with our company-defined policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the treasury operations, including ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate a small team of accountants to execute payments and manage the payables module.
  • Supervise team members to conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure proper expense allocations.
  • Review daily and monthly reports to prevent cash-flow shortages and ensure financial liquidity.
  • Liaise with banks to ensure availability of funds and banking facilities.
  • Manage payment of suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3-5 years of financial or accounting experience, with at least 1 year in treasury operations.
  • Costing and balance sheet reconciliation skills.
  • English and Portuguese language proficiency.
  • Business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the Angolan banking system and MS Office suite.
