Project Management Specialist

Job Summary

This role oversees all project planning, control, and reporting activities, ensuring efficient and effective achievement of cost and time targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Competencies and Staffing Needs: Determine the skills and personnel required for project services activities.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager: Work closely with the Development Project Manager for Projects Assurance Reviews, Gates authorization, and Releases.
  • Project Planning and Control: Ensure the planning, monitoring, and updating of the project schedule, budget accuracy, and robust cost and schedule estimates.
  • Risk Management: Coordinate and support the execution of project risk management activities, monitor risks, and update the Risk Management Plan and Risk Register.
  • Documentation and Communication: Ensure accurate and timely project reporting, document management, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Additional Skills and Knowledge
  • Construction Planning and Monitoring: Develop and implement construction plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Commissioning Planning and Monitoring: Plan and execute commissioning activities, including facilities partitioning and decommissioning.
  • HSE Principles and Systems: Implement and maintain environmental and health safety principles, manage contaminated site remediation, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Contracts and Commercial Negotiations: Develop and manage contracts, negotiate commercial terms, and evaluate economic feasibility.
  • Production Operations: Oversee production operations, including drilling and well completion activities.
  • Decommissioning and Abandonment Planning Management: Develop and implement decommissioning activity plans, manage project updates, and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
