Our client in the Oil and Natural Gas Extraction Sector  is currently looking for a Instrument Calibration Laboratory Technician to be part of their team. 

Responsibilities and duties:
  • Receipt and dispatch of items for calibration in the Lab;
  • Performance of instrument calibrations in the Lab;
  • Daily involvement and assistance with lab calibration operations;
  • Cleanliness of Lab;
  • Maintenance of stock levels;
  • Communicate with Calibrations Coordinator and Operations Manager on all lab planning and co-ordination;
  • Partake in internal and external audit requirements;
  • Disseminate and promote compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Management System, including safety rules;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

Education, Training and Experience
  • High School Certificate or Technical College equivalent;
  • Course certificates for relevant calibration training;
  • Ability to operate calibration laboratory equipment; 
  • Competency in measurement of uncertainty in respect of calibration laboratory equipment;
  • 3-5 years' experience in instrument calibration.

  • Attention to detail;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Analytical & problem solving;
  • Computer literate;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English;
  • Angolan citizen.
