Partner with the best
You will be responsible for driving growth in a key market for Baker Hughes. This customer-facing role focuses on building strong relationships, winning new business, and implementing the Geo-Zone strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, develop technical proposals, and collaborate with global teams to deliver innovative solutions that help customers achieve better performance.
As a Lead Sales Specialist - Drill Bits, you will be responsible for:
- Developing sales strategies to scope, plan and successfully deliver winning proposals for existing and/or key account(s).
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships in a market where trust and partnership are critical.
- Creating detailed and application specific technical Drill Bit proposals.
- Participating in tenders, pricing, and commercial negotiations to secure new business
- Tracking and manage opportunities using CRM for accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborating with supply chain, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Visiting customers and travel as required to maintain engagement and identify opportunities.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Technical Sales
- Have extensive working experience as an Account Sales and/or Engineer with in-depth technical knowledge in Drill Bits.
- Be able to show good problem-solving and analytical skills along with interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrate ability to influence others and lead small teams and ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Have an ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
