HSE Advisor

is a manpower service provider that serves clients in various areas including in oil and gas. We are currently searching for a HSE Advisor to work for one of our clients.

Job Qualifications 
Main Responsibilities:
 - Implement, monitor and review HSE policies and procedures;
 - Carry out regular inspections of workplaces to identify risks and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations;
 - Investigating accidents and incidents, producing reports and proposing corrective measures;
 - Promoting training and awareness campaigns for employees on safety and environmental issues;
 - Ensuring that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used correctly and is available;
 - Controlling and keeping records of environmental compliance (waste, emissions, licences, etc.);
 - Participating in analysing and assessing occupational risks;
 - Ensuring compliance with local legislation, international standards (such as ISO 45001 and ISO and customer requirements;
 - Supporting the preparation of emergency plans and their execution in periodic simulations;
 - Acting as a point of contact with regulatory authorities and external auditors when necessary.
 
Requirements
 
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of offshore experience
- Certifications: BST, HUET or BOSIET, NEBOSH, and relevant education certificates.
- Language: Portuguese and English (spoken and written) intermediate level
