Job Title: Deputy Representative Programme

Job Summary:

UNICEF is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Representative Programme to join our team in Angola. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Representative in managing the country programme, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency in achieving UNICEF's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Representative in programme planning and development
  • Monitor and quality control of programmes
  • Representation, alliance building, and UN system coordination
  • Private sector engagement and partnerships
  • Innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building
  • Security of personnel, programmes, and organizational assets

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social sciences, international relations, or a related field
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in development cooperation, including 5 years in a senior leadership position
  • Experience in humanitarian settings is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is required
