We're partnering with a global leader in the logistics and maritime sector to recruit a Project Implementation Manager to oversee a high-profile port expansion and operational transformation in Luanda, Angola. Your next challenge: shaping the future of port operations

You'll be leading a multi-phase programme that includes upgrading an existing terminal, transitioning to a temporary site, and transforming operational processes — all to deliver maximum value from a strategic business case.

You'll manage cross-functional teams, coordinate international stakeholders, and ensure timely execution of capital works. It's about more than just managing scope, time, and budget — it's about enabling progress with purpose.

What you'll bring to the table
  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Engineering, Project Management or related field
  • 7+ years of proven success leading large-scale capital projects, ideally with client-side responsibility
  • Hands-on experience in port infrastructure or complex industrial/transport environments
  • Professional certifications (e.g. PMP, CAPM) are advantageous.
  • Full working proficiency in English and Portuguese
  • A talent for managing cross-functional teams, resolving conflict, and building momentum in challenging environments
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to balance cost, quality, and operational readiness
