Job Overview


The Open Mind company seeks an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the production process and ensure efficient operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost optimization.


This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.



Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to manage costs and optimize resources.
  • Monitor Expenses: Regularly review and analyze expense reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify Cost Optimisation Opportunities: Conduct regular audits to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement changes accordingly.
  • Compile Ad-Hoc Requests: Prepare and submit ad-hoc requests for expenditure as needed.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to inform production decisions.
  • Build & Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement Operational Plans: Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Mentor Subordinates: Provide guidance and support to subordinates to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Improve Production Process: Continuously monitor and improve the production process to increase efficiency and productivity.


Requirements:

  • 10 Years Relevant Experience: A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role is required.
  • Language Proficiency: Portuguese and English: Proficiency in both Portuguese and English is essential for effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Business and Management Principles: Strong knowledge of business and management principles is required to make informed decisions.
  • Industry Equipment and Technical Expertise: Familiarity with industry equipment and technical expertise is necessary to ensure efficient operations.
